Hi, I’m Brittany.
I’m currently the Chief of Staff at Medium, a member-supported open writing platform. My job is a mix of business strategy, editorial/comms, product thinking, events, culture building, and problem-solving that’s hard to summarize in one sentence.
Previously, I’ve been an editor, program manager, freelance writer, a community engagement specialist, and a teacher. I’ve worked at nonprofits, higher ed, creative agencies, and tech companies. (I promise there’s a through-line to this path that all makes sense).
I live in Richmond, VA with my fiancé and my friends.
